When Sue show us the promotion that Greenhouse is having...our first reaction book..we HAD to GO!! So immediately, Sue call and made reservation!! ( Reservation is a MUST!! ...I saw many got turn away because it was full house on that day we went)

What is the promotion about?? It is buffet ladies night...only the girls gets the discount :P The restaurant will based on the highest inches of heels to give discount. Note: the whole group had to wear heels. (Usual Price for the buffet is SGD 72++) The chart.

• 1 to 1.9 inches – 10 percent privilege
• 2 to 2.9 inches – 20 percent privilege
• 3 to 3.9 inches – 30 percent privilege
• 4 to 4.9 inches – 40 percent privilege
• 5 inches or more – 50 percent privilege

The Oysters very fresh and juicy. Other than oysters there is scallop, clams, prawns, sushi and salad.

Laksa and Prawn Mee Section....I tried the laksa...It was GREAT!! The gravy is power! We had 2 bowls each haha

The dessert section, I guess the 9 layer kuey is very nice because by the time I went for dessert... there is none left.

Overall: Super good deal and Fabulous food and ambiance for gals night out!! Hopefully there is more similar promotion to come!!!
P/s: They serve free tea or coffee do ask for it as the waitor don't initiate.

It is another night that we had craving for steamboat again so we decided to try out Laksa King Steamboat which is at Teck Chye Terrace. Note: parking there is a headache, you can either pass it to the valet or park at Serangoon Stadium and walk over.

The soup choice, this is the first time we had Laksa and Mala soup base together....both spicy soup lolz.

The food choice...this is buffet style steamboat.

Here comes the soup....look at the RED....

This is my favorite..handmade noodles. Soak this in Mala soup...Sedap!!

Potato Noodle is also another must have if you eat Mala steamboat !! They goes together really well.

Total cost: About $27 per person, the buffet does not include drinks.

Overall: The Laksa and Mala soup are quite average, I had tasted better Laksa Soup and better Mala Soup before in other places. But if you want to have both soup together, I think Laksa Steamboat is the only one that offer this option . The price is friendly given the variety of food they offered.

Note: Thou the place state they operate till 11pm, the staff will start cleaning and packing the place early if there are not many customer left....pressuring you to eat fast and leave fast.

Having a sudden craving for buffet with seafood spread and oyster, we decided to try out Greenhouse at Ritz Carlton. Thinking that it should be good as it is located inside Ritz Carlton, a 6 star hotel.... 

The seafood and appetizer area

Spread of seafood very not interesting...Prawns, Oyster, Clams and Mussels that's all. Disappointing.

Cold Appetizer...

Sushi Counter...I felt that the sushi had been displayed at the counter for quite awhile, they look very dry and not appetizing.

Oyster..my fave...the Oysters were fresh...I had one dozen haha

Prawns and Clams...

Cooked food...the cooked food counter was not very interesting as well. The variety is rather limited. Fried Udon, dim sum and chicken. Food from the Local/ Chinese counter.

Counter for Wanton Mee and Laksa...Both Wanton Mee and Laksa were nice.

Butter Crab and Prawn...

Took more dim sum and karopok as I don't know whay else to eat...

Food from the Japanese Counter...Sushi...that is seriously very dry....

Food from the Western Counter...Roasted Beef, Roasted Asparagus, Roasted Potato and Cold Toufu Appetizer

They have Mini Wagyu Burger here as well, but we still prefer the ones at Conrad Oscar...

From the Indian Counter, we have Mutton Redang and Naan

Dessert Counter...the dessert selection were far more interesting than their food counter. I liked the Kuay Lapis.

My fave item of the night, beside Oyster. The Crepes and Ice-Cream. The Ice-Cream is really good, definitely not the Cheapo Ice-Cream that some buffet serve.

Overall: When I was paying the bill, I saw the receipt stated that it is a beef night. (Wednesday). I think the buffet was quite disappointing based on the price we paid. Maybe, I went to the wrong night. I would prefer Melt or Oscar over Greenhouse anytime.
