Xmas @ St Regis Rm 610

Chirstmas @ St Regis Suite

This year chirstmas gathering should be Batam High life, but due to some technical issue we had to stay in Singapore. However, the theme spirit High Life should be contiunue....so we book a suite at ST Regis!! The beautiful room of St Regis...

The small walkway in the suite...

The luxury living room ...The first thing Susan come into the room was to attack the fruit platter.

 The bedroom...

The very huge toilet....

The suite is very classy decorated and there is 24 hour butler service, regardless which type of room you are staying. P/s : There is also St Regis Residence for those very loaded with money, prices for the house start from SGD 5M for a 3 bedroom to SGD 18M for a 6 bedroom ....strike toto also not enough to buy....how to earn 18M in a lifetime??

Complimentary tea served..there is a small menu that you can choose from a variety of tea and coffee. This service is 24 hour...just call the butler.  Look at the cute square sugar...

While waiting for the rest to arrived, Joc and I decided to check out the swimming pool.

A very happy Joc because finally there is someone to swim with her. Normally, she had to swim alone as the rest of the gals is too lazy to entertain her haha.....

Finally Ashley and the Birthday Gal...Angie is here!! Ashley bought Angie a balloon birthday cake which also act as our Chirstmas tree later....

Candles sponsor by Ashely...which help on to the christmas mood.....

Finally all the food arrived.....as usual we had take out food. It was fun to eat in....talking, laughing, cam whoring and use our hand to grab whatever we feel like eating at our own pace.
P/s : Tips from Joc, if you are order Nachos at Chillis, you can ask for refill of the Nachos Chips.

After dinner, we proceed to the room to play Cards, while waiting for the late commer Ms Hazel to come before we can start exchanging present.

The late comer...eating the leftover....

She look so lonely....eating alone in the living room while the rest of us is playing in the room haha..

Finally, the Christmas exchange begins...everyone is excited and nervous of what they going to get...

The present we got...有人欢喜, 有人优,有人没感觉。。。Anning is the happiest as she got a pair of Ferragamo earring contributed by Angie ....Our budget is only $30/- she over budget by several times haha...

This year joc bought a OPI nail polish set which is highly sought after...many of us offer angie to exchange with our present which she rejected .....

A very sad Ashley who initally got Angie's present but was exchange away by Anning....
A very sad Sharlia who got Hazel present with all our photo....and we got to write a message behind the photo frame.......everyone was saying the present is very good ...very meaningful...very touching present....but no body want to exchange with Sharlia the present haha....
A very sad Susan who got a hair spray and a pot of chrysanthemum tea....

We had a "Qiang Wang" rule...which means all of us will vote for this year worst present. This person had to take the present of next year "Qian Wang" . Last year, "Qian Wang" was Hazel who give a towel set...this year she pass the honour to Ashley. Ashley pot of flower tea and hair spray is hiam by most of us.
P/s: We heard she already got the 2013 present ready.....

We also celebrated Angie's birthday that night....with the Christmas bread that Susan call it Ang Moh Huat Kuay kindly sponsor by Ashley friend. The " Huay Kuay" is bigger than Angie's head.

The start of our drinking games......

The drunkard...Anning....only person who is drunk that night...she occupy 3/4 of the bed....nobody dare to sleep around her as she is too smelly.....as there is limited place to sleep..we had use our creativity....including two person sleeping on the sofa and one person using towels to make a sleeping bay for herself.....

We sure had a fun night......looking forward to our next party .....

Christmas Eve Dinner @ Summer Palace @ Regent Hotel

26 December 2012

Who says we have to eat western food on Christmas Eve? For this year’s Christmas Eve dinner, I made reservations at Summer Palace at Regent Hotel which is located directly behind St Regis. When I approached the hotel, I am once again captivated by the Christmas decorations and so I needed to stop and pose for photos!

Summer palace is on the 3rd floor of Regent Hotel.  There were only 3 tables occupied, including ours. Some of you may feel like there is no Christmas atmosphere if there's no crowd. But I personally dislike crowds so I totally enjoyed the quietness Summer Palace offered. We were quickly brought in by the waiter to a table near the window peering down to the swimming pool. The service was impeccable, I chose the set dinner as the price was very reasonable at $68 each. And as I do not fancy pork, the waiter immediately offered to change it to prawns! Pork to Prawns?? As a kiasu Singaporean I immediately agreed.

PS Cafe @ Palais Renaissance

26 December 2012

Christmas celebration with Lynda, Huifan, Diane and Andrea was supposed to be on 21 December at Mozza at MBS. But since Diane had fallen quite ill, we decided to postpone it to 24th December at PS Café. While waiting, we had some red wine and sparkling water to kill some time.

Christmas exchange rule: Everyone is to draw a number from the bag. The number decides the priority to choose the present. But the person with a number which is the latter can decide to choose the present from the remaining stash or from the previous person.

Truffle fries

Chicken in a basket $28, to me is highclass nuggets and fries.

I want this gift!

Immediately transform to tai tai after wearing chanel sunglass.

Miso Cod

Us with the Christmas Tree outside PS Café. At first glance I thought there are worms on the trees but they were actually birds. This was by far the weirdest Christmas tree I have seen this year.
