Googling where to go for Sunday Brunch....I came across this restaurant Boomarang and decided to try it out. It's perfectly located in the quiet corner of Robertson Quay. Perfect place for a perfect Sunday if you want to have a "out-of-Singapore" feel.
Al Fresco seating is good, especially when the weather is not too warm.

The EGGCITING moment...will the egg yolk flow??
The moment was over when we were a little dissapointed... the egg yolk did not flow out...slightly overcooked. But overall the egg benedict is delicious. They replaced the english muffins with bread which is good. I prefer the bread then the english muffin which I find it too dry sometimes.
Bangers and mash was great!
Overall, I think this is a nice place to spend a lazy afternoon.
Hello to LAS VEGAS!!! This is my first time to Vegas...the feeling is so unreal and yet exciting! This is the infamous destination of the west right? Where all the crazy things happen, where the reception will tell you:" Anything can happen in VEGAS" with a wink*...Oh am I glad we are finally here!
Sufood which sound like 舒服 in Chinese is a Fusion Vegetarian Restaurant from Taiwan. If you think Sufood is another Chinese Vegeterian Restaurant which served mock meat...you are wrong. Sufood is a Fushion Italian Vegeterain Restuarnt that served healthy MSG free and mock meat free food. Everything here is natural..not funny looking mock meat is served here.
The menu...you can order Ala-Cart or go for their dinner 8 course set menu at $25.99++ which I think is priced very reasonable or you can go for the ala-cart which are priced at $12.80 for main course and $5,80 for starter or soup, salad at $7.80 and dessert/drink at $3.80 per item. Here is the list of item in the menu. You can request them to opt out the garlic if you don't take garlic.
The starter...Rosemary Bread-sticks which comes with sett mustard sauce..is delicious. How I wish they can give us more sticks....

Star Pizza....this is the STAR dish of the night....I didn't know Vegetarian Pizza can be so delicious....
A very thoughtful gesture...the pizza came with gloves...no need to wash your hand before eating and after eating the pizza haha...
Lastly..Dessert and Juice..I had chosen Ice Cream and Hot Chocolate....
Overall: This is a new Vegetarian Dining concept to me and I love it. Meat is not miss here. The service here is good too as most of the serving staff is Taiwanese. I will definitely come back again!!
As usual by the time Nick and I met after work is close to 9PM. By then, most of the restaurant would be having their last order soon. We wanted a place that we can chill and eat our dinner slowly...Clarke Quay provide a good choice. There are many restaurants there that operate till late. Since, Nick had a craving for Western Food and he really like Wings Bar food so here we are!!
At Wings Bar, the waiters and waitress dress like pilots. They look cute in it. Photo of the bar.
Chicken Wrap...the chicken wrap is REALLY GOOD. This is definitely one of the best chicken wrap I had before. However, the side dish is very very disappointing. First the fries is soggy, the fries must be lying in the kitchen for quite sometime. The coleslaw is nothing great thou it is a chef recommendation. It is a pity that the main is so good but the sides is so disappointing.
We wanted to order Fish and Chips but the waiter is afraid that we cannot finish as the portion is quite big. Instead, he suggested we order this Fish Bites which is the mini version of Fish and Chips. Very nice gesture of him. The Fish Bites is rather average the batter is thick.
The Ranch Beans, I like this ranch beans they have the smoke bbq taste.
Another Chef Recommendation, Onion Rings. Their Onion Rings are delicious. The batter is so crispy and with the herbs it taste perfect.
Wings Bar is famous for their Chicken Wings but we never ordered any this time. We wanted to order the chicken wings initially but the kind waiter reminded us that the food we order is enough for two person already. We are glad that we listen to his advice, we are really full after we finished what we ordered. We be back again fro some Wings the next time!!

Groupon - Modern Asian Diner (MAD) Groupon Purchase again...this time we bought the voucher for MAD. We were attracted by the decor of this restaurant when we were at Turf City the other time to tried out Omakase Burger. MAD is a new modern concept restaurant that combine shopping and dinning experience together.
Easy to make reservation?
I called to make reservation when I was on the way down. The receptionist say we can just walked in no reservation needed. So ..Yes it was easy to make reservation!
How is the experience? The Entrance of MAD..items on sale is quite interesting but prices is not cheap thou.

Very modernly and chic decorated restaurant, it was very empty on a weekday night.
This is interesting..we get to order our food thru ipad...alternative to recent tight manpower situation. Their menu is a mix of Chinese, Asian and Western. They had a dim sum menu too.
Mango Smoked Duck Breast...this was good....mango seems to go well with everything :)
Foie Gras, Whayu Beef Claypot Rice...talk about extravagant...this must be the most extravagant claypot rice I had eaten....never thought that Foie Gras can be used to cook Claypot Rice...interesting combination and it is delicious.
Dumpling Soup...the soup was served warm. I guess the waiter must have forgotten about this soup and let it lying in the kitchen for sometime. The soup was served when we asked the waiter where is our missing soup. Inside the huge dumpling is generous portion of shredded crab meat and scallop. It is a waste the soup is served warm as this soup with its lots of shredded crab and scallop taste abit fishy when it is not served hot.
Truffles fries..the truffle fries is so good that Nick finished the whole bowl himself....I only managed to grab a few strand from him...
Spicy Miso Pork Belly Burgers...one of the disappointing dish that night...the burger was bland and wet....still prefer my burger with patty
Crispy Beancurd Skin with Prawn...this is good...the skin is crispy.prawn is crunchy...

Yes ,if there is Groupon deal. The food there is ok with some hits and misses. Service staff needs to be more attentive as well. The night we went, there is more service staff than customer but the service staff is not attentive and can miss out our order when we are the only customer in the restaurant.
The location is rather Ulu there is nothing much you can do before and after dinner. The whole mall is quite dead on a weekday night. It won't attract me to go back there if there is no Groupon Voucher.
About 2 weeks ago Liteng and I popped over to Forum The Shopping Mall to look for Pearly for lunch at this relatively new café called Benjamin Browns (BB).
BB used to be a shoe boutique but the bosses decided to transform it into an F&B outlet. While we were there we bumped into Ivy, an old friend of Pearly’s.
