3 Day 2 Nights Gateway...Phuket !!
This year for my Birthday Celebration, I decided to ask the Gals to celebrate with me in Phuket. It had been sometime since we last traveled together due to everyone work and family commitment. We chosen Phuket because of the Cheap air ticket, Cheap Villa which suit everyone budget. Everyone was very 'ON' so Phuket here we come !!!
Waiting for out flight...we took Air Asia Airline, flight was punctual..yay! Ashley was missing because she took Silk Air. She will meet us at Phuket, arriving the same time as us.
6 bottles of alcohol for 3 days 2 night...YES we overestimate ourselves...in the end we pack one bottle of Martel back...
Trying to take a group shot on the plane....
Angie and Sophia who are supposed to join us but unable to join us at the last minute.....
Because, we are taking budget airline so we had to take bus to the airport terminal instead of walking to the terminal by sky bridge...
We saw Ashley Flight....!! Difference between Budget and Silk Air....we got to walk down the stairs and take bus lolz...
We saw Ashley at the luggage belt, we arrived almost the same time.
Everyone is patiently waiting for our ride, except Sue.
Our ride from Avis, USD 163 for 2 Days. We did not rent the GPS (USD 10 per day) as the GPS was unable to locate our villa address. Luckily, Ashley bought the Thai Sim Card, we are able to use the Google Map. The powerful Google Map is able to locate our villa.
This MPV can sit 7 people. Unfortunately, Phuket has many uphill road our ride is super under power when driving uphill with 7 of us siting inside, despite Jocelyn stepping the accelerator to the end. Motorcycle, Lorry, Van had all overtake us during uphill...our ride only can overtake bicycle during uphill...
We saw a Supermarket on the way to our Villa, so we decided to go down to replenish some tidbits and drinks. We had a full trolley load of drinks, tibits at only SGD 50/-. Cheap!
Finally, we arrived our Villa which is about 40 mins from the Airport. Our Villa name Two Villas Holiday at Bang Tao Beach - Oxygen Style. 4 Bedrooms and a private plunge pool at SGD 400+ a night. Impossible to get in Singapore. The Villa was new, clean and well kept.
At night, we decided to go 360 Degree Restaurant @ The Pavilions Resort. It was located on top of a hill. The view would be very nice, if you come at sunset. But we came to late, it was pitch black. The food and cocktail was nice. Service was also very good. I do recommend you to come this place during sunset. The view would be splendid.
It is a tradition that everyone had to take photo with the Birthday Gal...
The two person that is behind Ms and Mrs Love to Travel Blog...
Wonderful Night under the stars...with great Company...
Next Day, Rise and Shine. Breakfast is ready on the table waiting for us. The Villa Price included breakfast. You can choose from 3 type of breakfast, American, Continental or Thai Breakfast. The helpers will come to your villa in the morning to cook the breakfast for you.
After Breakfast is Pool Time....Ashley's Float was put to good use....
A toast to our Phuket Trip....
At Night, we went to Phuket Town Weekend Night Market. On the first night, we tried to locate the place but failed. We went there too late, the market closed at 10pm. We tried again on the Second night, this time we manage to locate it. The market operating hour is from 4pm- 10pm during weekend. The night market is like a big Pasar Malam, do come here and walk around if you are in Phuket.
Anning was very happy, she finally found her Banana Choclate Roti Prata after hearing Ashley and Joc saying how delicious it was.
We had a great time in Phuket, everyone was thinking where to go for our next trip!!!
