Ashley's 29th Birthday

 MY BIRTHDAY!

I have been extremely lazy recently and now I am lagging behind on my post.
Let me start off with the shorter post about my birthday celebration with a different group of friends. I thank all of you who have wished me either on Facebook or through whatsapp and of course through physical participation in my birthday.  The pictures posted here does not cover all of my birthday celebrations but in order not to drag further, I will first post some of the celebrations which were held before my actual birthday.
The very first batch of pretty ladies to celebrate my birthday. Angela, Hwee Hong & Sophia.

I had a birthday theme, which was the pool side party. But sad to say, I had only 3 participants including myself. Honestly it wasn't what I had in mind, but then again it is already a blessing that I have so many friends celebrating my birthday with me.

Outfit:: Victoria Secret

Breakfast

On my actual birthday I took leave, wanting to go for some adventure on my own. So before I left the house, I did a check on the weather but atlas, thunderstorm "-_- Still, I decided to go ahead.
My gear for the day. Well, I thought I was well prepared for the storm but then the rain stopped at around noon time and the sun came out to say HI. So you can imagine the number of stares I had while on my way to my adventure.

I chose to take public transport all the way to add to the adventure. My initial plan was to visit Pulau Ubin but when I arrived at Tanah Merah MRT station, I spotted Changi Museum. I never knew this place existed so I did a detour.

First stop: Changi Museum
Through documentation of significant events of the Japanese Occupation, the Museum serves as an important educational institution and resource centre. As for the Prisoners-of-War (POWs) and their families, it is a site that allows for closure of the many emotional scars inflicted by the war years

2nd stop: Pulau Ubin
You may not know that my grandfather, mother, aunties and uncles actually came from this island so the objective of the day was to find the house which they lived in and also the primary school which they went too.

But sadly, after walking around the island, I couldn't find the house or the school.
Many areas have been cordoned off to visitors.
