Dear All, sorry for the mega delay for the Paris posting. I have been in a serious post-Paris coma ever since I've been back. I miss the cool breeze, I miss the sight seeing, I miss the oysters, I miss the pastries, I miss the night scenery so much. Even though we were there for a good 7 days, just Paris, yup, just Paris. There were still things that I wanted to do. I wanted to sit in a horse carriage, snuggle under a blanket and tour around the iconic spots. I wanted to have a picnic below the Eiffel Tower. I wanted to take a walk along Siene River. I wanted to sit in a café as I watched the world go by.
Back to the post.
Packing for Paris was tough, especially because I visited in Fall.
I did not have many sweaters to play around with so what was I going to do? I decided to do some layering. I always plan my outfits for the holiday based on the itinerary so that I would know exactly what to pack for that particular activity. If you plan your outfits in advance, there will be a lesser chance of over-packing.
So my Paris wardrobe looked like this except that I was still short of 3 more outfits.
Day 1 - Exploring the Neighbourhood
We arrived at the hotel at about 8am which was a really bad idea. We are not able to check in till 1pm man! So we had no choice but to leave the luggage at the lobby and proceed for our first breakfast in Paris.
We were captivated by the beautiful backyard at the hotel. So, here are some quick snapshots.
Dressed in AX top, Helmut Lang jeans, Burberry boots, Miu Miu bag, LV shawl

Day 5 - Sight Seeing
But before sight seeing, we went to RUE CAMBON AGAIN. We were so familiar with Rue Cambon by the second day.
The red sole on the red carpet. Love! I went into the shop, picked 5 designs which I liked, but it turned out that they didn't have any in my size. So I told the lady that I refused to go home empty handed and she gave a laugh and said, "I understand." She then disappeared into the storage room for about 10 mins and came back with 3 pairs of heels in size 35.5 (my size). Yippie!
What a Beauty! I have seen the Eiffel Tower so many times! On postcards, figurines, television and even on the computer but I finally got to see it in person! Right in front of my eyes! It was absolutely stunning, especially when the lights sparkled at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm for a period of 5 minutes each. Even the light rain could not dampen our spirit.
Day 6 - Sight seeing again
If you want to look like a Parisian, go black.
