Vegas- The Sin City I Love

Hello to LAS VEGAS!!! This is my first time to Vegas...the feeling is so unreal and yet exciting! This is the infamous destination of the west right? Where all the crazy things happen, where the reception will tell you:" Anything can happen in VEGAS" with a wink*...Oh am I glad we are finally here!

Our stay in Vegas...The Cromwell...A very posh hotel on the strip...

They even have a sofa in the room.

Dressing Table...feeling like a star..Guess what is on the table??

Hair Straightener!!!

Besides the hair straighten...their bedroom slipper is definitely the best I have seen so far very thick, not the cheapo slipper that most hotels have.

View from our room window...Not exactly the best view but no worries, we got all we wanna see on foot! Haha...

The Next day, our trip to Grand Canyon...we booked our tour with Comedy on Deck Tour. Our tour started early in the morning and so I thought I could have some shut-eye on the way to the destinations but I was SOOOOOO wrong!!!! We couldn't sleep, we were wide-awake and laughing our way to our destinations. Phil is definitely the best tour-guide/host/comedian anyone would have on a bus ride!. Not a dull moment on the bus!!!!!

Our first stop...Hoover Dam. The place where the blockbuster "TRANSFORMER" is filmed. Amazing how they could build this dam in this area in such a short time...of course, it came with a price. A tribute to the heroes who made this dam a possibility.

The highlight of the tour...Grand Canyon. Must I say that it is really really GRAND?!?!?

Eagle point...It really looks like a huge eagle at some point.

Those people behind us is doing the sky walk...which is not included in the tour. You can purchase the tickets for skywalk there but no photography is allowed on Deck..

Tourist who would go all the way to take a nice photo. By the way, every year there is more than 10 visitors who fell to their death in Grand Canyon. So guys, a gentle reminder, stay safe...we live another day for a greater adventure yea?

The native village...for tourists to take photos. There is still natives staying in and around Grand Canyon.

Next we went to Guano Point for our lunch. Its really amazing to have our meal set in this view. Lunch wasn't actually appetizing but the view made up for all.
Grand Canyon, a place that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime!

Britney Spears is having her show in Vegas. There are so many shows in Vegas and we are really spoilt for choices given our limited time in Vegas. We chosen David Copperfield Magic Show but gosh we were disappointed. The tricks are all the similar tricks we would all remember from our childhood days! I think Liu Qian would be a better magician haha

Vegas at night...Vegas is more beautiful at night...look at the lights...It is a city that never sleeps!!!!!

Caesar Palace...where Hangover is film. The hotel is really Really GRAND....and Golden!

The Castle Hotel...It really look like Sand Castle.

MGM Hotel...The Golden Lion looks really Majestic...I would really like to own one haha

Dinner at my favorite Chef restaurant- Gordon Ramsay Steak ! Inside the restaurant the lighting was very poor...so pardon me for the lousy photos.

The server giving a mini lesson on different cuts of the beef..

Our Appetizer Lobster.

Our side...definitely the best Truffle Mac and Cheese we have ever eaten...need to find the recipe!!!!!

The Signature...Beef Wellington...A dish I always see in Hell's Kitchen..Now I am finally tasting it...IT was really Good!!

Ending our stay in Vegas with this great dinner...Next up.. Los Angeles.. Stay Tuned!

More Post on Canada Trip..
