Time to do some catch up on "Mrs Ashley" posting...she is posting at amazing super fast speed ......
Here is my posting.....on Oscar Buffet at Conrad Hotel.....NOPE the buffet is not 24 hrs.....the restaurant will go bankrupt if they let you eat till 3am ......the buffet is operate until 10.30pm only. Price is $59 for adult (without juice) or $67 with free flow of juice. The option of $59 comes with a pot of free tea or coffee, you can choose from a variety of tea.
The usual cooked food counter...the cooked food is not very impressive but most buffet cooked food is not very impressive. Majority of the people go for the seafood when they eat buffet.....that the spirit of eating buffet....go for the most expensive seafood lolz
The friendly chef mending the wagyu beef burger counter...the mini wagyu burger is cute and taste delicious.
The Seafood counter....say hi to our friends
Look at the gloves...
Say hi to my best friend.....Mr Oyster....
Tried every of the mini appetizer...they are good...
They even had lobster and caviar....yums
Sashimi Counter.....I only tried the clams sashimi as I don't take fish sashimi....the clams is good
At the Laksa Counter which is outside of the restaurant....waiting for their signature Laksa.....which i think is quite average....they have bah kut teh and prawn met at this counter too...
Next up the cheese counter.....I made my own cheese platter....
Finally the Dessert Counter......there is quite a lot of variety at the dessert counter....do try out their waffles with ice cream...delicious....Normally I will skip the buffet ice-cream counter as they tend to use cheap ice-cream which taste very milky and cheap......what I like about Oscar is the ice cream they used is from Movenpick , you can really tell that the ice cream is made from good quality.
Overall, I will say that the buffet at Oscar does not have as many variety as other hotels buffet. But if you are going for quality than quantity, do give Oscar a try.
Verdict : 4/5
I love their fresh oyster and seafoods..
