2 Day 1 Night ...Johor Bahru Eat Non Stop !!

2 Day 1 Night ...Johor Bahru Eat Non Stop !!

Joc decided to celebrate her birthday at JB but due to security concern only half of the strength reported to the trip. We set off at 10am ...Jam from Singapore custom to Malaysia custom took us more than 1 hour.

It was a hazy Saturday Morning...we cannot see the buildings across the bridge. Luckily, the haze was gone when we reach JB. It would be so good, if this is fog.

Our birthday gal cum driver....she complain her leg was tired after getting caught in the jam for more than an hour...(she driving manual car), thus both leg also tired haha....so glad that I am not the one driving!

The two passenger behind....

Joc, Sharlia and Me did not change any RM prior to our trip, we intend to change the money when we are in JB. From the start, Sue told us that she brought about about four hundred plus RM so we will rely on her to buy the touch and go card.

When we are at the custom about to buy the card, Joc asked Sue for money. Something was not right, when I see Joc face turned Green...like the note Sue pass to her. Sue had just passed her 20 BAHT!!! The currency she thought is Ringgit is actually THAI BAHT !!! ...aka...she also have no Ringgit. -_-''''

In the end, I had to go down and look for people to change RM with us haha

Sue blame the haze for making her blur.....so she get a hazy photo ...Yeah, the 400+ is Thai Baht...not RM haha...so much difference lolz..

First thing after we crossed JB custom was to find food as we  were super hungry. Joc wanted to bring us to go eat seafood porridge but the shop do not open in afternoon. Sharlia suggested to go I Dragon at City Square...the food was not bad but we over ordered until we stuffed our self to so full haha....we over estimate our hungriness

After lunch, Sue and I went to our favorite old school hair salon in Taman Sentosa. We love this old school salon, the stylist use their nails to scrub and scrub our scalp...is like doing exfoliating for our scrub haha...the scalp feels so clean after that......the wash come with shoulder massage as well.. Shiok!

My hair after the wash...Sue say I got the stylist who don't know how to style hair...but is ok my main purpose is to enjoy the wash and massage haha...

After the wash, we went over to find Sharlia who was doing manicure and pedicure at the nail salon. Since, we still got time left before meeting Hazel, Joc and I decided to join in. This is Joc first time doing pedicure....29 years of unclear cuticle skin and heels skin....she was happy that her heels feel so smooth after the pedicure!
My Gel Nails.....

After our manicure session, we check in to the hotel. The hotel room was really big, two queen size bed.

After checking in the hotel and met up with Hazel....we were out again for dinner. We went to Ti Gong Kia for seafood. Look across the sea and you will see Singapore. I felt that the standard of the food had drop as compared to many years ago when I first ate. The lala was the most disappointing dish of the night.

Feeling very disappointed with Ti Kong Kia Lala...Joc suggested that we go for second round of dinner!!! The place she wanted to bring us for lunch initially. Joc strongly recommend their Lala and seafood porridge....which turn out to be a super good recommendation. The Lala here is super duper nice!!! The soup is soaked with LaLa Jucie, this can beat Brussel Sprouts anytime. The seafood porridge is delicious as well. Beside this two must order item, you can also order lok lok as your sides.

Group shot at the hotel Lobby...before Hazel went back.

Next Morning...Brunch was Bah Kut Teh opposite KSL Mall. JB Bah Kut Teh is different from Singapore, you can add other ingredients like mushroom, meatball, pork intestine into the soup, the soup is more of herbal type than our pepper type. I think I still love our peppery soup Bah Kut Teh more. It is funny but I think their claypot chicken is better than their Bah Kut Teh,

After our brunch, we sent Joc super dirty car for a wash....Car Wash in JB  is only RM8. If you are not particular on the wash standard, it is a good choice as it is really cheap.

After car wash...is time to rest our legs...MASSAGE TIME!! Joc would be thankful that she is having her foot massage now....because it was another one hour plus jam when we go back to Singapore from Malaysia lolz!!

If you want to get out of Singapore over the weekend, you can go JB with your gal friends to eat and do massage. It is cheap and no need to apply any leave!!
