Afternoon Tea @ Regent Hotel

25 January 2013

Sorry for the wait folks...
我在想如何分辨好人与坏人。尽心尽力帮你是好人?躲躲闪闪是坏人?安安静静是好人?吵吵闹闹是坏人?人多的地方本来就会是非比较多。置身事外是最好的方法吗?

Anyway coming back to my posting…  the girls and I made reservations to dine at Regent Hotel 2 months ago. The high-tea at Regent Hotel is often fully booked for the first 2 seatings. The harder it was to make a reservation, the more we were determined to find out what was exactly so nice about the high-tea.  So on that day, Mr Guan and I arrived on the dot at 3pm.  As the rest had not yet arrived, I decided to walk around taking shots of the food.

The spread at Tea Lounge is one of the better ones that I have been to.  Smoked salmon, caviar, wagyu beef, wings, dim sum, sandwiches, scones, crepes, fondue, cakes etc.. $48++
Drinks are free flow which is a plus point.

Important note :  Regent Hotel only offers 1 complimentary car park coupon per 4 diners.  So if there is more than one of you driving, I would recommend that you carpool.  Alternatively you may park at the other nearby malls and then walk over.  Otherwise be prepared to pay $23 for parking at Regent’s car park from 3pm – 6.15pm.
